Middle C
This note is called Middle C. It is called Middle C because it is essentially the note between the Treble Cleft Stave and the Bass Clef Stave. Every Concert Band Instrument can play Middle C.
On your recorder Middle C is the Lowest Note you can play. It is one of the hardest notes to play as well.
To play Middle C you must cover all of the finger holes. When you blow it needs to be a smooth and gentle breath. If you blow too hard or fast the note wont play or will squeak. If you blow too slow or soft the note will be flat and sound very weak. It might take you a few tries to be able to play your Middle C well.
It is Very Important that your fingers cover ALL of the holes properly sealing them off so no air can escape. If your fingers don't cover the holes the note will squeak.
The more you practice Middle C the easier it will become to play. When you have mastered Middle C you will then be able to play songs much easier and faster than before.
