For the Parents
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
On this page I hope to explain how this website will be used in your child's education and to assure you of the safety in using it.
Firstly, I am the only person who will post things publicly on this site. No one else has any permissions or access to post information on this site. If you see something that you are unsure about please contact me so that I can have a look myself.
Secondly, I will NEVER ask for details such as age, house address, credit card details etc. If you are asked these things whilst on the site please inform me right away and leave the website.
The only information I will ever ask for from students is a First Name and their class room name (for Example Mitch in Room 24). Any information or messages that your child puts in forms gets delivered to my school email inbox which is only accessible to myself.
I will NOT POST ANY CHILD's NAME on the website and I will not mention any school names on the site. I will not post photos or videos of children on the site unless consent has been given by a parent/guardian.
Please note that if your child does post anything on other websites such as YouTube that they are giving consent for their image to be shared and used on the world wide web. Please make sure that you are aware of what your child does online.
The idea behind creating this website for learning the recorder is so that your children can practice learning the recorder at home so that when they come to school we can play songs learnt and spend less time on building skills and more time on refining and strengthening knowledge and skills. It puts the responsibility of learning in the hands of your child and allows them to go at whatever pace they please. It also helps build within them great independent work ethics which will be needed in future study and for work.
If you have any concerns or questions you would like to ask me please feel free to ask in the comment section below on this page. I will try to reply within the next 24 hours of you sending your message.
Regards,
Mr A.
